As many of you are aware, April is officially designated as National Poetry Month. And I had the opportunity to attend Chicago Public Library's annual fest, featuring everything poetry.
Last year, in fact, I was fortunate to have been chosen as a featured panelist on business. It was a great experience.
And this year's line up did not disappoint! It offered a myriad of workshops on everything from negotiating contracts, to writing different styles of poetry, to reading and performing creative works from folks of all ages and backgrounds. There were vendors reflecting different titles, from various organizations, colleges, and small presses.
Sessions started at 10 in the morning and lasted until about 4p.m. Admission was free.
