Motivation Monday! Quotes to Move You Forward

It's the beginning of the week and the middle of the month. Do you know where your muse is? Is your year starting off with passion and promise? Are you maintaining your resolutions? Or are your goals getting lost in the day-to-day madness of it all?

Well, today's post will hopefully encourage, inspire and enlighten you as you ascend greater heights this month, this year, in your writing journey.

And I'd like to dedicate these thoughts on positive thinking and progress to a man who was the perfect embodiment of both: Dr. Martin Luther King, JR.

Enjoy!

  1. Wise and wonderful words, thanks for sharing, Jen! I've always liked the quote, "Be yourself, everyone else is taken." I believe Oscar Wilde gets the credit for that one.

  5. Oh, wow, Jennifer! These are awesome. I can't see the staircase lately, and am hanging back on that first step. The holidays and a rotten cold have kind of waylaid me. I have, however, written two new poems so I guess that's something. Thanks for always being such a beacon!

  6. "No one can make you feel inferior without your consent." This quotes resonates with me because we don't realize how often we give up our power.
