Blooming and Grooming!

Happy July, and Happy July 4th!
As expected, June was a month of many moods and a multitude of happenings.
Thanks again to all of you who kindly extended birthday wishes and prayers.
It seems the older I get, the more rich I become in my layers of living and my related blessings. I count you among them.:-)

I'd like to extend a special welcome to my new followers! I had 4 this month.
What a pleasure to have you here. Please feel free to express yourself however you feel most comfortable, (of course within reason).:-)

Moving right along...
See the images reflected in this post?
The photos were taken by my retired cop/poet/aspiring photographer friend, Gail Merriwether, and they're actually pictures of my slowly cultivated green thumb!
Yep, they're my plants, and I'm trying to make my powder room have the feel of a botanical garden. :-) So far, things are shaping up pretty nicely.

Speaking of growth...
There's an important parallel here that pertains to my goals and making progress as a writer, blogger, and a person.

In May, I was approached by someone who offered me the opportunity to manage my own site! I took it. It will mean having more control over my creative projects and being able to assemble my own team. Yippee!

It also means I'll have less time to devote to former clients and other activities.
As such, effective today, I will no longer have weekly posts appearing at BloggingPro.com. It was a great learning experience, and I'm grateful for what I took away. I was able to engage with some super talented folks and form future blogging connections.

You'll still see my work around "town".
I will still be doing guest posts when time permits.
I thank you for your support--some of you even from day one!

Enough about me. What growth are you experiencing this summer either professionally or personally? Do share. Each one teach one.:-)

  1. Good question. One part of my growth is reassessing and adjusting priorities; this is still a work in progress. Another growth about to happen is expanding into another writing genre (historical fiction). Will have to keep you posted on progress on that one:)
    Happy weekend,

  2. Ah, priorities...a bit perplexing at times. ;-)
It's something many writers wrestle with.
And it's certainly important to overall success.

Good luck with the historical fiction. But I'm sure you won't need it...

    Thanks for sharing.
