Closing Thoughts As We Bid Farewell to 2021...

2020-2021. It’s a time frame that will live on in infamy for its devastating toll and the impact it had on our day to day functioning. It took us off guard. It put us off balance.

It placed us in a state of pandemonium from which we have yet to recover.

Covid-19 evolved like an episode straight out of the Twilight Zone. All of which has left many of us feeling anxious and uncertain.

According to WWW.KFF.ORG: “During the pandemic, about 4 in 10 adults in the U.S. have reported symptoms of anxiety or depressive disorder.”

But here’s the good news: “Tough times don’t last. Tough people do.”

Amid these dark days and challenging circumstances, it’s important to remember this: the sun still rises.

Now, more than ever before, it has become crucial to maintain a positive mindset, count our blessings, and live our best lives. If nothing else, the arrival of the pandemic has forced us to face a sobering reality: tomorrow is not promised.

We each should be mindful to make the most of each day and to re-assess our priorities, as we move forward.

As we close out this year, I would like to thank each of you for your readership, support, creative gifts and ongoing connection. Let us continue to spread love and light. To honor our gifts. To pray. To persevere.

Have a happy and safe holiday season! Celebrate responsibly.

See you again on or around January 15, 2022 (God willing).

Warmly,

Jen
