Pen & Prosper Celebrates 6 Years of Helping Writers Earn more and Learn More!

Greetings, Pen and Prosper Peeps!
In the words of the Pointer Sisters, "I'm so excited, and I just can't hide it!"
June is here.
It's one of my favorite months of the year. The end of the school year, backyard barbeques, my birthday, and the anniversary of the inception of this blog. Need I say more?
 Yay!

Thanks so much for joining me here today. And more importantly, for your faithful readership and support over the years; it means more than I can convey.
I'd also like to send a "shout out" to my new friends and followers. Welcome, welcome!

Please feel free to introduce yourself, post a comment, or ask a question. We're a fun bunch here, and I enjoy the interaction, as well as the mutual opportunities to know more and grow more.

In honor of my 6th year, I thought it would be cool to share six trivia facts about Pen and Prosper and its founder. Game?

1. My original major in college was Psychology. I have always been fascinated by people's behavior.

2. I am a big "foodie."  I love to cook, eat and entertain friends.

3. Beethoven moves me to tears.

4. I have authored and published more than 700 articles and essays professionally, and have ghostwritten books for others.

5. Pen and Prosper is my 3rd attempt at launching a successful Blog.

6. I have a fear of flying and have never been on a plane.

And here's an extra one, for good measure...

My celebrity crushes are Bad Boy Rapper 50 Cent, Keanu Reeves, and Michael Strahan.

Any surprises?

Wishing you a wonderful week ahead.

"You are the wind beneath my wings." :-)

Warmly,

Jen

P.S. Feel free to share a comment or an interesting trivia fact about you and your Blog.
Go ahead. You know you wanna'. :-)

  5. Jen--

Wonderful CONGRATULATIONS on this accomplishment of six years. It takes much commitment and staying power to continue with the excellence you have shown in delivering a wealth of information to writers at all levels. I especially appreciate your candor in admitting that P&P is your third blog attempt. Glad you persisted. In the blog, you combine savvy, intelligence, practicality, transparency, and compassion to (us) readers. I always learn something! Wish you only continued success. Very Warmly, Noelle

  6. Congratulations! I am very impressed by 4, and with respect to 6, don't you find that a hindrance? Aren't there places you'd like to see? As for me, I am recovering from the flu, but have discovered that dark chocolate is supposed to be effective against the cough reflex.

    1. Hi Victoria,

Thanks for taking the time to visit and comment. I appreciate your time.
To answer your questions...I have never been much of a traveler. But, when I do, I find that a bus or train will suffice. :-) Also, I find a lot of pleasure in having "stay-cations" at home and doing simple stuff like working in my backyard, entertaining friends, and decorating and D.I.Y projects. :-) Hope you're fully recovered soon.

Thanks for 6 years of advice and feedback. I wish you 60 more years blogging joy ;-)

As a foodie, do you have any favorite sites?

Oh and I've never been on an airplane either. I don't consider that a fear - more like something that will never happen, ha ha. So I don't fret over it.

  11. I'm impressed that you've managed to keep finding good advice to share. I have three blogs, but I don't have to come up with useful advice for others, just the stories I want to tell (mostly food, travel, history). So impressive job. Here's to the next six years.

  16. You know, I tried to put in a subscription to the P & P blog (I was directed here by another e-mail list) and couldn't find it. And my computer doesn't even have the right app to subscribe to comments from this individual post.
